The Faithful Prayers of the Nazarene Believers Makes a Difference!
God works through the Faith of His People

The agenda was related to the rain that had still not come and that everyone was concerned that the timing of the rainfall was necessary for the crops to grow. The solution they found was simple: Pray to God to open the windows of heaven, in order to irrigate the fields that were now so dry they feared losing them. However, soon there was disagreement between the religious delegations present. Finally, a consensus was reached. Each group should implore God's favor according to a predetermined schedule by the village chief.
It was decided that two days would be assigned to each group represented. But in reality there are only 3 groups in this village: Muslims, fetishists, and the Nazarenes. Being himself a Muslim, the cheif placed his religious family in first place, that is to say the Muslims had the first two days. The two days went by unanswered.

In the afternoon of the first day when our Nazarenes gathered early in the morning to pray, the heavens over Séritchédiga were filled with dark clouds. Then the rain began to fall. The second day was no different from the first. Since then, the rains have continued such that no one in Séritchédiga can say they are missing the rain. Many have come to believe in the Lord through this event with conversions from all social and religious groups in this village. Today the village chief continues to invite our pastor often to go his house to pray for him and their village.

Truly God answered the prayer of his people and demonstrated His power to bless this village and these believers faith. We give God all the glory for what He is doing to build his church in this part of the world that desperately needs to hear the truth about who God is.
