My life Story

I am Norbert Toumoudagou. I was born in a village situated in the north-west of Benin. I am married and a father of five children. My fathers family practiced polygamy. My father passed away when I was 13 yrs of age.

I studied up until a secondary school level and became a drop-out due to lack of financial support . This was at the age of 19 yrs. Since this time, I have resolved to creating my own source of income which was agriculture and adult literacy in my local dialect. I am still engaged in these activities and do occupy the presidential position in my association, dated from November 2004 to this present time.

The History of My Ministry

I encountered the Lord through friends from a christian family in the local Assemblies of God Church in my village. This was at the age of 13 years as an orphan (the side of  my father ). Two years later I was sent by my mother to seek assistance from a brother for the continuation of my schooling. I stayed with him for four years with restrictions on church-going because of his animistic beliefs. In 1986, I returned to Tanguieta where my mother was staying and re-engaged in my church activities, serving as a member of my church choir from 1986- 1989.

On the 12th of October 1991 , I moved out from Tanguieta to settle at Bombèréké, western department and this was where I was introduced to U.E.E.B (Mission SIM). I then served in this mission as a  local preacher until the 3rd of  February 1995. On the 11th of February of that same year, I went on adventure trip to the Ivory Coast and while I was there on the month of May 1995, I was introduced to the Nazarene church by Pastor Konan Koffi Germain who was at present, the pastor of the Amanikro church.

I then became a member of this church and later a Sunday School teacher. I have been pastoring in the Nazarene church of Tanguieta since the 21st of Sept 2003( a student of IBN) and was ordained by the church on the 13th of January 2007. I thank the Lord for His good work in the church since July. We have had many Muslims been converted to Christians.
