Many have asked how they can help partner with the Africa West Field in spreading the great commission.  There are several ways you can donate and help the work here in West Africa.  You can donate to a specific project in our top priority list, you can support a particular missionary in several ways or you can donate in general to the work of missions with the Church of the Nazarene.

1. 1.Projects
   

Projects have been approved by field and regional leadership and can be donated to directly on line.  Click on the following link and you will find listings of these projects for several areas in Africa.  We encourage you to look for those specifically listed under the Africa West Field and donate directly through our Global Ministries Site.

2. 2.Missionaries
   

You can give to missionaries using three methods.  When sending funds into the Global Ministries Center you need to indicate the name of the missionary you are donating to and then mark your gift for “Work of”, “Deputation”, or “personal gift.”

Deputation funds are used specifically for things such as vehicles, computers, and other needs used directly on the field.  These funds have to be approved by regional offices and any purchases become the property of the church for the work of the church.

“Work of” or “Personal gifts” allow the missionary to apply those funds to projects or needs for the ministry generally at the discretion of the missionary.

Important:  Make sure you note which missionary you are giving it and if it is deputation, work of, or personal gift.

3. III. General Giving
   

These funds can be given to the work of the Church in West Africa.  Specials allow us to use the funds for the further development of the work.  You would mail these funds to the same address above but simply mark the donation “Specials Africa West Field.”
